Psycho – The Audio Release

The ripples have started showing on radio in Bangalore and quite a few of you have been noticing! So now its time to make it official! Raghu Dixit Productions has ventured into music for Kannada movies and the first movie ‘Psycho’ is finally done and two of the songs (the only two made public) from the soundtrack ‘Mahadeshwara’ and ‘Neene Beku’ have been creating quite a stir we hear 🙂

The music will be launched on the 3rd of May at the Chowdiah Memorial Hall at 7 PM by Shivraj Kumar, one of the biggest movie icons in the Kannada movie industry and also by our favourite Bollywood duo Vishal and Shekhar who are flying in exclusively for this launch!

Now the good part of all this … The event is free to attend and we would love it if *ALL* of you can attend this event! If you are in Bangalore on Saturday, you know where you should be … and also, this time round we have given you enough notice 🙂

Also, head to the facebook page for the event and RSVP. We are putting up our own little space on the Internet with clips of music from the movie soundtrack that you can sample. Watch of for more Psycho stuff to come 😉

Music is outstanding and very simple..This album will definately raise the bar and will be a bench mark in KFL. I would be great if you could get the instrumental version of this album. It will definately gel as a world music album or a lounge music.

    Hai,

Just listened to your songs.I liked the silent songs, especially mussanje rangavalli and nene beKu.Album is worth its money. But a word of caution,Use your voice with great care.Limit the number of songs which you sing and dont allow your voice to become monotonous as KFI is making of sonu nigams voice.

You have great future given you work hard like your first album.

    All the best.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Hi Raghu,
I heard the songs on radio and instantly fell in love with them. However, when I went to music world to purchase the audio CD, I was in for a shock. All the MW shops(I enquired in Mysore as well as Bangalore) are saying that they do not have the CD and also that they will not sell it in future also. I was apalled. I think there seems to be some problem.

I wish all shops sell good music irrespective of the language in which they are made.

Anyway I will buy the CD from some other shop. Good luck to the people behind the music.

    Hello Raghu,

I’m an ardent fan of your music/project/antaragini..
I’m also a small time guitarist.

It’s REALLY inspiring to see artists like
    you switch to mainstream KANNADA.

It’s my dream to support kannada
with rock/folk music and artists like you will
certainly make kannadigas proud by doing this.

I’ve always noticed the richness you add to
your songs through folk and your amazing vocals.
    Great Stuff Raghu!!

I would want to jam up with you some day..
(That’s on my wish list, before i die..)

To support our language, we need musicians like
you in the 21st century..I am hoping you take up
lyrics and themes by kuvempu, bendre, masti, dvg,sl byrappa
and the like.. It will be a very good way of introducing
our own culuture, heritage and folk back to our own guys!!

After all kannada literature is the
    richest amongst indian languages…

    SERIGANADAM GELGE, SERIGANADAM BALGE..
    JAI KARNATAKA!!
